| THE BEGINNING Heritage began in 1985 as a small independent bathroom shop in Bristol that had big ideas to grow, and that’s exactly what has happened. After a Cheltenham-based sanitaryware manufacturer went into liquidation in 1989, our company founders, who had already begun some localised sub-distribution, acquired the Heritage name and the moulds to some traditional-style basins & WCs, and thus Heritage Bathrooms was born. Moving from strength to strength the company grew the distribution arm of the business and also embarked on own manufacturing, acquiring and setting up two ceramic, one acrylic bath and a furniture factory in a short space of time. The remainder of the portfolio of products in the Heritage range are mostly manufactured for Heritage in the UK with just a small amount of European imports. Our success is such that in 1998 one of the worlds largest manufacturers of brand-name consumer products for home and family, Masco Corporation, acquires the business and Heritage becomes part of the plumbing platform for the multi-billion dollar corporation, alongside other leading brands such as Delta Faucet, Damixa, Bristan, Hansgrohe and Gummers. OUR COMMITMENT Heritage’ focus has always been on producing good quality, well designed bathroom suite packages’ at affordable, value-for-money prices. The Heritage brochure is arguably the best in the industry and illustrates the entire range in a friendly and clear manner, making it as easy as possible for you to choose the bathroom that is right for you. By supplying our products to a network of local bathroom retail specialists from four Heritage owned regional distribution centres in the UK (and via our international distribution partners across the world), we are able to control and manage availability, supply and the quality of goods as well as achieving an exceptional standard of customer service to our retail customers and end-consumers alike. The confidence we have in our products and services enables us to offer a no-quibble returns policy to our customers, and a free peace-of-mind product guarantee of either 5 or 25 years on all products (see Product Guarantees for full details). CHOICE AND FLEXIBILITY At Heritage we are dedicated to bringing you as much choice and flexibility as possible when it comes to bathroom design, and that is why we introduce new products regularly to the Heritage collection. By continually investing in new and existing products we aim to provide you with a real and affordable way forward to create your dream bathroom. All our products carry the Heritage or HB brand label and are packaged together in suites to create an ideal bathroom setting, although of course you are free to mix and match any of our products to create your own individual bathroom. MODERN, CLASSIC AND TRADITIONAL Although historically a manufacturer distributor of traditional style bathroom products, our actual portfolio today consists of well designed bathroom suites and products, including taps, accessories, showers, furniture, whirlpools, acrylic baths, cast iron baths and heated towel rails in modern, classic and traditional styles. All our products complement each other in style, finish and design, so that whether you want to create a modern bathroom with chrome fittings and chic towel rail, a traditional feel with high-level toilet and cast iron radiator or a style which sits comfortably in the middle, Heritage has All Your Bathroom Needs. |
